how to solve laptop hanging problem windows 10

 Hello Readers

Today's post is all about the Lenovo laptop hanging problem solution.

Well, whatever tips and tricks we have told you here, you can use them for any laptop.

A hanging problem is a problem in which while the laptop or computer is in running condition, suddenly the fridge gets jammed, that is, the screen stops completely at one point and nothing further happens, neither any work is done nor any Buttons, mouse, touchpad do not work nor the system can be turned off, in such a situation the user gets upset and he is left with no other option but to restart the system.

In the case of laptops, it happens many times that even the power button does not work and if it does not even have a restart button, then the entire system has to be turned off by removing the battery.

However, we get the option of removing the battery only in the laptop, that too only in the old laptop because in the latest laptops coming today, we cannot remove the battery because in the latest laptop the battery is inside the base cover.

why my laptop is hanging

  • RAM size is low or RAM is bad.
  • Hard disk failure.
  • Pin short of the USB port.
  • Not getting enough power from SMPS or Adapter.
  • Overheat of CPU or any other part.
  • Slow Spinning occurs due to CPU fan jam or dust accumulation in it.
  • Accumulation of dust on the motherboard causing a shorting-like condition.
  • Defect of Keypad or Touch Pad in a laptop case.
  • Hard Disk, RAM, Wifi Card, Graphic Card, or any other internal peripheral is not attached properly.

Try to find out the hanging condition, at what time the system is hanging, is there a limited time for the hang, or is it hanging on opening one of the proper application software or is it hanging on installing a particular device It is happening as well as hangs as well as whether the system is running slow or not, etcetera.

If you have any idea about checking all these conditions, then it is okay otherwise you look further step by step:-

  • First of all, restart your desktop or laptop and go to the BIOS setting by pressing the BIOS key and wait for some time to know the condition of the hang. If the hang is not happening here then most of the chances are that the problem is with the software, for this, you follow the steps below.

  • Now in the drive list of Windows Explorer, see how much space is in the drive (mostly C: Drive) with the operating system, whether it is full or more than 90% of the data in it, if there is enough space then Go ahead or else try to clear it. If the problem is not solved even after doing this, then go ahead.

  • If the hanging problem is coming after opening a particular application software, then uninstall it and check the condition, but if it is not so then go ahead.

  • Check conditions by updating all device drivers. If even after doing this the problem remains the same, then proceed further.

  • Open Task Manager and go to the Performance tab and try to know the status of RAM and CPU usage, how much of their resources are they both using, if one of them is using more than 90% of the resources then This means that most of the chances are that the hanging problem in your system is happening due to these reasons. If there every one is taking resources around 50% then overload is not a related reason.

  • In such a situation, now you install New Operating System (Windows) by formatting the whole system i.e. Fresh Installation. After doing this, most of the chances are that the problem of your system will be solved. If the hanging problem is not solved even after formatting, then the problem is with your hardware.

  • In such a situation, now you have to disassemble the system (if you have technical knowledge only then you can do this), although it is easy to disassemble the desktop computer it is necessary to be experienced with a laptop.

  • If you are experienced, first of all, disassemble your desktop or laptop and remove the RAM on the motherboard after cleaning it thoroughly and reinstalling it, then check the condition, in this step also there is a lot of chances to solve the problem. If after doing this the problem is not solved, then try changing the RAM once. If everything is right here then go ahead...

  • Check the condition of the CPU Fan, Case Fan, and whether it is spinning properly or not. If there is dust in it, then clean it. Then review the situation further, after the problem remains the same, proceed further...

  • Check the condition by removing the WiFi card. Still, if the problem is not solved then go ahead....

  • Take out the hard disk and turn it on without the hard disk and wait for some time to check the hanging condition by going to the BIOS setting. If you hang even after doing this, then you will go ahead....

  • Take out the CPU and put it again and put a new Colling Paste on it and put a fan on it, after that check the condition. anymore....

  • To remove the confusion of the power-related problem, once check the SMPS in the case of a desktop and in the case of a laptop, then by cross-checking with the help of the battery and adapter, you can guess if there is a problem with the battery, then the adapter is correct. Will run and if there is a problem with the adapter then it will run right on the battery.

Conclusion

Here we have discussed some Lenovo laptop hanging problem solution tips and tricks, using which you can save your laptop from hanging.
